Badiang National High School Night "Bidlisiw sa Kagahapon" by Jennifer Deloso


    Municipality of Anda has an annual event for celebrating our patron Sr. Sto. Niño. Badiang National High School (BNHS) shone brightly on the night of January 13, 2025 as it is one of the presentors of nightly event being held at the Anda Cultural Center. It is the highly awaited second season of their student-produced drama. This year's production continued the heartwarming story of highschool romance that was being showed last year January 8, 2024, adding new layer of twists to the beloved characters. Bringing students and community back in time with its captivating night event, "Bidlisiw sa Kagahapon" (Glimpses of Yesterday). An event that is a nostalgic journey into the romantic and simple happiness of past eras.

       The night was very crowded and an unforgettable night. The main attraction was a dramatic performance that blended the talents of dubbers, actors, and dancers. The production brings up the love stories from past eras that brought both laughter and heartfelt emotion from the audience. The performances were met with echoing applause that shows the students' dedication and skill.

                 Adding to the nostalgic beauty were a series of traditional Filipino childhood games. The sounds of laughter and friendly competition filled the air as students excitrdly participated in games like Chinese garter, luksong tinik and other games in pastimes. The games were being played by mostly grade 7 students.

                  But the evening wasn't just about drama. It is a combination of acting and dance performances showing the student's different talent. From contemporary styles to traditional Filipino dances. The student dancers caught the audience's attention. The transition between dramatic scenes and dance performances kept the energy high throughout the night. 

            The event showcased the school's commitment to encouraging creativity, preserving cultural heritage, and building strong community ties. The organizers expressed their gratitude to the students, teachers, parents, and community members who contributed to the event's success. Many attendees expressed their hope that "Bidlisiw sa Kagahapon" would become an annual tradition, continuing to bring joy and nostalgia. The event included with a heartfelt closing ceremony, leaving everyone with cherished memories and appreciation for the simple joys of life.
