Our winning masterpiece, the Shrimp Tart, impressed the judges and secured the championship title. Meanwhile, the first placer is Sea Urchin Tart , and the second placer is Imbao Tart. Additionally our Pao Tart also stood out, earning us 1st place. These delicacies and desserts we made weren’t just about the taste they reflected our dedication to preserving and innovating traditional flavors.
The competition was intense, with talented participants the BAFIAS TEAM, TALISAY INN TEAM, and TAFIAS TEAM bringing their best creations. Yet, with every ingredient we carefully selected and every technique we used, we knew we had something special. Our teamwork, training preparations with 1 day ahead before the contest begin and the unwavering support of Ma’am Sabiñana Dela Peña and the School Head of Badiang National High School Mrs. Len Rochel Amoguis who fueled our determination.
Finally, on March 12, 2025, during Anda’s 150th Foundation Day, we officially received our awards. The feeling of standing on that stage, holding our awards, and knowing we had brought pride to BNHS was indescribable. It wasn’t just about winning—it was about proving that passion and perseverance lead to success.
Winning this competition was more than just a personal achievement, it was a victory for our school, and our community. We didn’t just make desserts or delicacies, we made another memories, strengthened friendships, and showcased the talent of BNHS to a wider audience. This experience will forever remain in our hearts, reminding us that with dedication and teamwork, we can achieve great things.
