Season Two of BNHSian's Drama and Musical Presentation by Mary Jane Gultiano

In the town of Anda, Badiang National High School held its season two of drama and musical presentation. The shows were held at the Cultural Center of Anda. Together with the students, teachers, and their very supportive school head, they worked hard to put on a very amazing drama. The talented cast and dubbers acted with their best and delivered their lines with feelings that captivated the attention of the audience.

The drama, Bidlisiw sa Kagahapon, was inspired by high school musical but in the Bisaya version. It was a blend of drama, comedy, love, failure, and forgiveness where the audience could get a lesson. It showed the everyday lives of Filipinos during the old times, including old games like patintero, luksong tinik, Chinese garter, sticker, and many more. They are bringing back the culture and traditions of Filipinos and showing the importance of family, where the simple joy of life was written. Moreover, they also showed the hardship of the Filipinos, like how they work hard to feed and provide for the needs of their family. Also, the drama shows that life isn't about being successful. Their son failed to graduate, but he didn't give up; instead, he rose up and moved forward. Lastly, they showed that nobody's perfect and forgave their son despite what choice he made. The show not only entertains the audience but also gives a learning experience, reminding the new generation of how lucky they are.

That drama served as a reminder to everyone, especially to those Gen Z teenagers, that they should value every moment with their families. A lesson to everyone that hardship is not a hindrance to success. Life isn't about being on top; it also has failures that lead you to grow and to be successful. Another reminder that we are not perfect, and nobody is. We fail, we can make wrong decisions, and we can make mistakes, but there's a big but in there: we should not lose hope; instead, we take those failures as an inspiration to do better.

The school's performance was proof of the hard work and dedication of the cast, dubbers, backstage crew, teachers, and their school head. Days of practices, emphasizing every detail of the drama to make it perfect. From impressive acting passes to dubbers as well as the choreographers. The shows wouldn't be that successful without the unwavering support from the parents of the talented students.

The school's drama and musical was a big party for all the amazing skills and old traditions of our town. The kids showed us how talented they are, and everyone had a good time watching them sing, dance, and act. It was like looking at old pictures, but also having fun right now. The play reminded us of the games and stories our grandparents knew. This show made everyone in the town of Anda feel happy, and it showed how much we care about our young people and our history. It was a night to remember, where everyone felt like they belonged.
